How to use new bluetooth integration

I have upgraded Home Assistant to the last 2022.9 release.
I understand that the old bluetooth and ble device_tracker does not work anymore, due to python upgrade to 3.10 in Home Assistant env.
Anyway, clicking on settings->devices,It propose me my bluetooth adapter and I configure It, but I cannot obtain any previously detected devices’ state.
In configuration.yaml I add the bluetooth: root entry and removed the device_tracker: one.

How to make It work? How to manage the presence detection with this new integration?

Unfortunately, it feels like the Bluetooth device tracker has been abandoned. I, too, have been trying to get it to work recently, but with no luck. I think it needs to be updated to use the dbus method of using the Bluetooth radio instead of directly controlling it.
