How to view history of removed entity

I recently changed my thermostat (along with a new ac unit) and I’d like to view the old unit’s history to compare them. But when I go to history the only one that shows is the new thermostat. I’ve set the retention to 30 days so I’m hoping it’s still there somewhere just orphaned and not scrubbed when I deleted the intergration.

Deleting the entity does not delete the data from the recorder database, so it is still there (until it is purged in 30 days).

You are going to need an SQL sensor to view it as there is no longer an entity you can select to view its history.
