I’m running Firefox for Mac v155.
My homeassistant connection goes through cloudflare to proxy on VPS to proxy on TrueNAS server and finally to Home assistant. All over https using a combination of cloudflare and Let’s Encrypt Certs.
The site works fine except I cannot get the Html 5 push notifications integration to work. I installed it, added my email when prompted, and went into my profile and enabled the setting
" Receive notifications
Enable HTML5 browser notifications on this device"
it prompted me for my device name, and I entered that.
Symptoms:
- When I refresh the profile page, the HTML5 browser notifications button goes back to disabled setting. I can enable it 100 times and it will revert to disabled.
- The device name appears the Html 5 push notifications integration.
- if I create a notification action and run it, I get “Sending notification to REDACTED failed due to a request error” error message.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
