Hi all,
I have hass.io running on a raspberry pi 4, and a hue hub with a number of bulbs/strips throughout my home. I also have a subscription to HA cloud.
I use Alexa for voice commands and routines.
The issue I have is that the hue lights are showing up twice in Alexa devices (i.e. duplicates); via HA and via the Hue Alexa integration.
Is there any advantage/disadvantage to using one over the other? I’d prefer just to let HA be the ‘master’ repository for my devices, but I’m worried I may lose some capabilities if I do this. For example, asking Alexa to set the lights to certain colours in rooms, or using scenes.
Could someone shed some light on this please?
Thanks!
Iain
