Hi,
On April 9th there was a software update of the Hue Bridge Pro to version 1.76.207… From that moment on the MotionAware does not update in Home Assistant anymore.
I did restart both the Bridge and HA a couple of times.On the bridge it is registering the movement.
I am running HA Core version 2026.4.1
Operating system 16.3
Exact same problem here… No idea what the problem is.
I installed my new Hue bridge pro yesterday and it updated to 1.762071294010 automaticaly. I made a new motion aware area. In the app it is working correctly. In HA I only get a light switch (light.motion) and I do not see any motion sensor. In the log I get “received update for unknown item d0878548-9a4d-4c80-80cd-b926b161572b” every time a motion is detected. Also in the log:

Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing the same issue with Core version 2026.4.2 and a Hue Bridge Pro running firmware 1.76.2071294010.
When I create a new motion zone, it only works locally on the Hue Bridge itself, but it is not detected or exposed in Home Assistant.
Has anyone found a solution or workaround for this? Looks like hue did some changes on their api?
