Hue outdoor lights and actions (changing brightness levels)

Hi all. Relative beginner to home assistant. I’ve linked my Hue bridge to HA no problems, and have an outdoor hue light. I am trying to set up a simple automation whereby I can trigger the light to increase to 100% brightness when motion triggered, and then revert to around 60% which is the normal brightless level set between sunset and sunrise.

I have done my automation and there were a few what I assume are default actions and sure enough there is already one there for increase and decrease brightness which is great. However, these don’t increase brightness enough. They only increase it to around 80%.

It looks like I need to edit a script(?) but I can’t find how to, to change the brightness increase percentage setting. I’ve looked in developer tools and actions but I can’t find it there. It does appear that this can be done though. Any pointers would be much appreciated.

I’m not sure why the light is only increasing to around 80%, I’m able to configure my Hue lights to 100% through the HA UI tools.

You could try creating scenes for the two settings in the Philips Hue app. The scenes will get imported into HA automatically, and then you can activate the appropriate scene in your automation.
