Hue Smart Plugs going offline in Zigbee2MQTT

I’ve got a fairly robust Zigbee network with approx 120 devices, but I still need to extend to a couple of areas, so I purchased 4 Hue Smartplugs (I already have 6 of them).

I can add them and they pair correctly but ALL of the 4 new devices go offline or appear/disappear from within Zigbee2MQTT, either near another routing device or within 3 metres of the controller.

I don’t have any issues with any other device in the Zigbee network, just these 4 new plugs.

I’ve tried deleting them, removing them from the YAML (cache?) and also factory resetting them multiple times.

They don’t stay online long enough to do a firmware update - any tips?

What model # are the plugs?

model: 9290030510, M4D, TUVO25197EA

@LiQuid_cOOled - have you just let me highlight the obvious that this model isn’t supported?

What is up with that reply?

I was still researching the device. The 929003051001 appears to be close to 929003050601, but was unsure if the model # provided was correct.

This is the only website showing anything with the information you provided.

Are the other 6 the same model?

Nothing negative meant by my reply other than feeling like I should have checked compatibility myself - that’s all. I’ll check the other devices this evening and see if they’re a different variant.

I have 70+ Hue devices connected via Z2M and thought I may be able to assist.

Yes, they’re different:

The devices that work well are:
Model: 9290030510, K49, TUVO25197EA,

The devices that don’t are:
Model: 9290030510, M4D, TUVO25197EA

Do I now have to go through the process of requesting a new device via a pull request or is there a fix I can do?

Thats nice of you to do for other people to have out of the box support for the device. But in reallity a device showing “offline” is not perse a device support issue, as that is only adding the features that the device has.

So how is your Z2M network looking, got enough routers? is there another zigbee device nearby or the zigbee stick for that matter. How is the signal strenght that is reported in z2m?

Anyway hope that helps you in the right direction
