I have an FP2 in my master closet to trigger lights. I see the presence detected in the Aqara app as soon as I walk in, but HA does not update for up to 60 second or longer. I have made a routine with Alexa that triggers almost instantly, but I’ve watched several videos where people are walking back and forth between detection zones and their lights trigger instantly. How can I get rid of this lag?
Could it be so, that your Aqara app is still on Cloud-phone-line, and your FP2 talks with the Cloud, then update HA ?
It Might also be doo to your settings for the FP2
In which integration do you have your Aquara Devices ?

It would help to know how you’ve connected your FP2s to HA. If you’re using an Aqara hub of some sort, the lag could be between HA and that. For the FP2s I have I use the HomeKit integration to get the FP2s into HA. I’ve not seen an issue with a lag (or when I do it’s both the Aqara app and HA).
The only way I have found to connect the FP2 to HA is via HomeKit. I know the lag is not with the FP2 itself because I can see the presence in realtime on the Aqara app, yet HA does not register it in the HomeKit integration.
