I built a WearOS app called Current Spot for Tibber customers who want quick access to energy data on their wrist - without pulling out their phone.
What it does:
- Live power consumption from Tibber Pulse directly on your watch (updates every ~3 seconds)
- Real-time spot prices (hourly + 15-min intervals)
- 24-hour price chart with visual indication of cheapest periods
- “Cheapest Time” complication — shows the best time to run your dishwasher/dryer
- Multiple watch face complications (current price, price level, price range)
- Quick-access Tile
- Supports German, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, English
How it works:
Your phone connects to the Tibber API via WebSocket and relays live data to your watch over Bluetooth. All data stays local — no third-party servers.
What’s next:
- Feed-in alert for solar/battery owners (get notified when you’re pushing power to the grid)
- More complications and watch faces
Requirements:
- Android phone + WearOS watch (Galaxy Watch, Pixel Watch, etc.)
- Tibber account (Pulse needed for live consumption, prices work without it)
