I cannot get past the welcome to the HA command line

Have a look on your router to see what IP address the RPi was assigned. You can also do this using the app called ‘Fing’.

That way you can use the actual IP address instead of home-assistant.local

Then the ip address for your pi is shown : Ipv4 adress… in the example.

Good morning all, sorry for the late reply. As a new community member I was prevented from posting a response. I seem to have exceeded the replies to my own post for a new user.

The IP address wasn’t shown on my start up screen. There must have been an issue with the ethernet cable I was using. I took the PI and plugged it directly into the router cabinet and its working like a dream now. Thanks for all the advice!

Hi there,
I’m trying to install HAOS on a Generic x86-64 device but I also cannot get past the “Welcome to the Home Assistant command line”.
In my case the host doesn’t have an ethernet port, only build in Wi-Fi.
Please advice if it is überhaupt possible to install HAOS on such a device. If that is possible, how can I activate WiFi using the CLI in order to find the ip-adress of my host in my network?
Thanks in advance for the reaction!

Looks like I have similar.

Except, I’ve changed my router from TPlink to Mikrotik hap ac2 recently and now I cannot access to HA instance.

Any ideas what may cause it?
