I have lost Access to all my Zigbee Devices after Upgrade to 2026.1.0

Hello all

I Hope you are Well.

I Upgraded to the 2026.1.0 Release this Morning and since then I have lost Access to all of my Zigbee Devices.

When I try to Turn On a Zigbee Device this Error is shown:

Failed to perform the action switch/turn_on. Failed to send request: Failed to send request: <Status.NWK_NO_ROUTE: 205>

I am relatively New to Home Assistant so I am unsure how to Troubleshoot this Issue.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Kevin

How are you running Zigbee? Start by looking at either the addon or the integration (depending on how you run it).

Hello

Thanks for the Reply.

I have the ā€˜Sonoff Zigbee Dongle P’.

Everything was working prior to the Update.

Thanks

Kevin

Zigbee2MQTT or ZHA? Start by looking at that.

Hello

I am using ZHA.

I think I have made progress

I unplugged the Sonoff Dongle from the Home Assistant Green, waited 10 Seconds and then plugged it in again.

My Zigbee Devices all seem to be working again but I will keep an eye on it.

Thanks

Kevin

Experienced the same with my setup after upgrading to 2026.01. Same No Route error. Sonoff 3.0 Stick running on proxmox environment. Tried reboot, unplugging the stick. Restart HA of course. But even switching back to VM Backup didn’t work.

You also need to look at the integration or add-on (ZHA or Z2M?) and look at the logs.

Using ZHA. Don’t know if it’s really update related, maybe just restart after update related, because I had some similar issue before but devices where marked as offline. This time it’s the no route error.
Zigbee stick is working, because If I repair devices, it’s working again. But I don’t want to repair all of my devices. Because some of them are not easy accessible.

okay. Very weird. Restored vm back to last stable. Devices not working. Repaired one of the devices. Device working. Update to 2026.1.0. Device stopped working again. Same issue ā€œStatus.NWK_NO_ROUTE: 205ā€

Working again. What helped was to start the Zigbee channel change via the Zigbee network settings.
Picked channel 15. But settings still show me channel 11 and ā€œsmartā€ if I open up the channel settings again.
So I’m concerned that it will happen again after an update/restart.
Any advices on this kind of failure?

To close this topic for myself. Realised the firmware of my Sonoff 3.0 Zigbee USB stick was pretty old.
Did an pretty easy update through this nice little Addon:

After that the ā€œchange channelā€ feature works and seems to change the zigbee channel as expected.

Update from 2026.1.0. to 2026.1.1. worked without loosing Zigbee connections now.
