I have two Zigbee devices, a ThirdReality ZL1 smart bulb and a THIRDREALITY smart switch. They both seem perfectly normal except that when I ask Alexa to turn them on I get:
<Garage Light 2> is not responding. Check if the manual switch is on. device has power and is online.
Hmm Kitchen lights is not responding.
I’ve tried removing them as an exposed entity and re-adding them and some other fixes, to no avail. I found nothing in the log files indicating the problem. I also tried logging out of Nabu Casa cloud and logging back in.
I’m using the Zigbee integration with a ZBT-1 (ZHA) coordinator. I also have an HA Cloud subscription, so I use the Alexa assistant to expose new entities. I have about a dozen other devices working with Alexa. Not sure what happened with these two.
I’m having major issues with Alexa on Android. I have not been able to access the device list, which just began working. I found there were some duplicate devices, I deleted some, and now the one garage light began working. I also have a Kitchen Lights entry that I am unable to access it. I tap it and it just returns. So on Home Assistant, since you cannot delete devices, I renamed it to “Kitchen Lights Broken”. And paired a new 3rd Reality switch and named it Ceiling Lights. At least it works now!
