I’ve released FindMy Fleet, a Home Assistant custom integration for Apple Find My / AirTag cloud location reports.
It is designed as an evidence source rather than a full location brain: each Find My item becomes a device_tracker, with useful attributes such as report age, freshness, GPS accuracy, source quality, account health, polling mode, skip reason, reports found, and tags updated.
It also includes visible HA controls for:

The main goal is to make Apple Find My reports usable inside Home Assistant automations, dashboards, and higher-level fusion logic — for example alongside BLE presence, ESPresense/Bermuda, door/contact sensors, cameras, or other trackers.
It is available as a HACS custom repository now, and I’ve submitted it for inclusion in the HACS default list.
Feedback from anyone using AirTags / Find My items with Home Assistant would be useful, especially around setup clarity, diagnostics, and report freshness behaviour.

Apple take their IP theft very seriously, even thought a BLE beacon using a nRF52840 chip or similar is not a enormous challenge to make, claiming it is 'an Apple AirTag' or using their ecosystem is a non-no they will aggressively attack.
There may have been a very useful project that hit a few requirements not offered by Apple, but you won't find it by clicking the link to GitHub above. The Ko-Fi link you mentioned may have been an aggravating factor, seeking to profit from hanging off their coat tails. Who knows, they may have used the ideas to further their own product?
Sadly, the irony is that AI Bots, so aggressively scanning these forums thirstily in vain attempt to keep up to date with Home Automation will have followed the link and gobbled up the source code and quietly stored it away, ready to spit it out with little ethics when some neophyte asks them to vibe code a tracker like an AirTag!
