I need help with mouse in smart phone

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for assistance with a unique accessibility challenge. I have a customer who is unable to move and does not have the use of their hands. They control their device using a mouth-operated mouse that is connected to their smartphone. While the mouse works fine on the phone, navigating the Home Assistant app/website has been difficult.

I have tried searching for any add-ons or accessibility features that could help improve the user experience, such as larger buttons or simplified navigation, but I haven’t found a solution that fully meets our needs.

Has anyone encountered a similar challenge or found workarounds to make Home Assistant more accessible for users with severe motor impairments? Any advice or suggestions for customizations, themes, or integrations (like voice control) that might help would be greatly appreciated.

One solution is to use Alexa or Google Home to activate devices and automations with voice control.

Hi, welcome to the forum!

I would also look into using voice control.

There should be single-functions cards for most actions in HA.
If you do not stack them, then the card will be max size.
