I tried to reflash the firmware on my new HA Voice-PE and it kept erroring out during install. I let the error then terminate the install process, unplugged everything and then tried again.
Plugged the device back in and no lights, blue or red. Frowned in puzzlement, tried toconnect via USB in the ESPHome and the port was missing. Unplugged the device and replugged it back in and… nothing.
No lights, no sound, nada.
Do I need to make funeral arrangements?

I think it should be possible to revive it as long as you can get it in boot mode. Did you ever flash it through USB or always OTA until now? If you do not see a port when plugging it in, it may be as simple as that you are missing the right driver for the serial port chip it uses. The web interface of ESPHome offers links to three variants that might be used.

I installed all of them, one at a time.
