I had an old iPad sitting around that wasn’t really useful anymore, so I started thinking: why not turn it into a digital photo frame?
That idea eventually turned into SnapFrame – an open-source photo frame application designed to work with Home Assistant.

What it does
SnapFrame can turn an old iPad or Android tablet into a photo frame that is connected to your Home Assistant setup.

The idea is basically:
Old tablet + photos + Home Assistant = useful smart photo frame instead of a device collecting dust.
I’m still developing it and would really appreciate some feedback from the Home Assistant community.
