I added my ICS calendar, but I don’t know how to write some automation which sends me a notification 5 minutes before the next event starts. I don’t understand how to set up the trigger on the ics sensor.
Because Remote Calendar - Home Assistant now exists, this project will eventually close. I may or may not make some PRs for features that project is missing. This project will stick around for at least a couple more releases, since I know some people will be unable to use the Remote Calendar integration due to its current limitations. If anyone thinks it’s worth keeping this project going even after Remote Calendar gets close to feature parity, I’m willing to transfer ownership. I just have no desire to work on a project that’s duplicating something else.

Do we know they’re moving to feature parity? I personally NEED the ability to set the UA header in order for my iCal to load.
I think others should answer that. I recommend posting feature requests for the Remote Calendar integration.
Note, too, I said it’s going away, not that it’s gone away. It’ll probably be months before I close the project. Please note, too, I’m still willing to turn this particular project over to someone else to maintain and expand.
