Hi all!
We live in an apartment building and need a smart lock solution that supports intercom and is usable without a smart phone (since our 7-years old doesn’t get one yet). Nuki Opener would offer the possibility to open the central door when ever the buzzer is pressed, but that sounds like a too big security issue, even with the possible time schedule.
Therefore, I would like to build a solution, where:
- Our son could press the buzzer downstairs at the central door
- A HA connected component is activated, opens the voice in the intercom (Koch TC31) and generates a voice prompt into the intercom “Hi, who is it?”
- Our son answers “It’s me, John. Open the door, please”
- HA analyzes and recognizes the voice and the contents
- When it recognizes our son, it opens the door via Nuki Opener.
Would this kind of solution be doable (with reasonable effort)? Thanks!
Best,
Jari
