I bought couple of new remote control buttons from Ikea. The new bilresa series 2 button and scroll wheel version. Both are working fine but could only be added when I tried via HA app close to my ipod mini (added as border router to HA). When I tried adding while close to my SLZB-MR4U (also border router) was not able to add to HA. Kept hanging on checking thread network.
Im running a SLZB-MR1 as a OpenThread Border Router and i managed to pair my bilresa after like 20 retries… The scroll wheel works extremly slow as dimmer, hope it will get fixed in the future
I returned mine, because the scroll wheel was smooth on the surface and at times did not actually turn around because of that.
Indeed its very smooth and slipery, ive been rotating mine like 100 times and it is getting more easy to rotate
Ok so i does pair in the end as you say after multiple times. Close to the homepod mini it pairs immediately. I like the 2 button version as its 6 euro here and works decent.
