You can't help it if the Ikea user manual only has one word, and it is at the top of the first page and it only says the model name, mittzon.
In this case the many pictures in the guide are useless. At least your photo is in color and not a stylised line drawing.
Commiserations. A refund is in order, unless Ikea tech support comes to the party. You probably won't find enlightenment here in these forums.
