HI all
I have the parasoll up and working via skyconnect - no ikea app or hub - but I’m not sure how I can change the status on the dashboard to read OPEN or CLOSED as opposed to the status ON or OFF. The On/off status confuses the intended audience, even if I set it to a red door open / green door closed iconography
Any ideas?

For the absolute newbie like me and kinda hungover:
comment put me on the right track, so follow Customizing entities - Home Assistant
Or:
Go to /config/entities and select the device
For these you want the O Device Name entry (in my case Brew Door)
hit the - next to the integration name (in my case Zigbee Home Automation)
THEN hit the Cog on that window and set the SHOW AS to DOOR.
Boom. Fixed.
