I have purchased the Ikea Timmerflotte, I am unable to get it connected/paired. I have other matter devices such as TP link sockets which worked fine. This device refuses, i have tried another Timmerflotte and I get the same issue. I’m guessing the Ikea items are working fine and its just a config issue somewhere.
Any ideas where I can look to get it working.
I don’t think anybody can help you with this little of informations…
A good start would be to describe you setup (HA installation, Matter/Thread setup, logs/error messages)

I had also problems with the ikea thread components, bit now they are working.
Main problem was the sync of the thread credentials between HA and Android
I got to pair the sensor with my HA thread network without problem. My border-router is a Sonoff USB stick…
i have a windows machine, running virtual box with HA on. home assistant connect zbt-2 connect via USB to physical machine and passed through to the vm. HA has picked the ZBT-2, i have matter and thread addons installed.
Logs did not how up anything when i tried pairing it up via my iPhone.
Here is a link I’m passing along showing how I added a device (its a different device), but take a look at the “prerequisites”. If you are using iOS HA Companion App, then this should also be helpful.
I struggled greatly with my new setup. I ended up having more luck after fully charging the rechargeable batteries I bought. Then, keeping the timmerflotte in one hand and my phone with the companion app in the other, I hold them close together.
They require a BLE connection to your phone initially, then hand off to Matter to finish the connection. I used a stopwatch after I got it working correctly and found that on average, they would initially connect within about 15-25 seconds, and then a second connection would occur around 35-45 seconds.
When you start again, hold the button down until the light starts to flash, indicating it has reset. At that point, you should be able to see it in your HA companion app and begin joining. You see the first connection indicated by 2 rapid blinks on the Timmerflotte, and the same will occur when the second connection is successful. You’ll see it shortly thereafter in the companion app.
Batteries are brand new on both units, I have tried pairing it right next to the antenna and phone side by side, yesterday I tried another Ikea device and that did the same does not connect. My phone does not pick up Ikea hardware via Bluetooth. a friend tried with their android and picked up via android device.
I am using an iPhone but trying it on an android device said, scan the QR code, then searching for device, connecting to device, your thread device requires a thread border router. I have checked HA and it is enabled and running,
the thing I spotted was the credentials were not able to be added to the android device. it stated you don’t have any credentials to import.
on the iPhone I do have the credentials but does not pair. Also I have noted under debugging in the app, the is a thread that is present and it refuses to delete. I have tried removing the app, clearing etc but its still present. Via the iphone i dont see any 2 rapid blinking lights on the matter device.
i have started from scratch, installed virtual box, passed through the usb antenna to the vm, added the antenna, installed addons thread and matter. logged into my iphone, tried to commission a device and hit the same issue.
Is this the correct process to do? apologies I am fairly new and have followed various guides and all have got me to here, any help would be greatly appreciated.
