IKEA Tradfri RGB Colour Accuract

Hi everyone, looking to make the jump from Hubitat to HA. I’ve got a couple of Tradfri RGB bulbs and I’m trying to get a sense of any issues around colour accuracy with IKEA bulbs.

On hubitat, until the last year, there were issues with colour requests to the bulbs which would all be shifted by a number of degrees, leading to inaccurate hues. This was due to the bulbs using a different colour model than Hubitat.

One fix was to use Hue hub integration, but there were still issues if a colour change was requested via HomeKit/Siri → Hubitat → Hue.

Is this something to expect with HA as well, if using Zigbee2MQTT? Are IKEA bulbs just screwy?

I think you “issue” is related to mine and I can confirm minor color inaccuracies.

Dont know if this helps you but it seems to be “by design” on my tradfri bulbs.
(Im using tradfi bulbs in 99% of cases as light)

This did the trick! Thx alot. I pasted the code in case someone has the same issue. Funfact: changing to 0, 0, 255 changes the value to 11, 0, 255 for some reason in my case. But to be honest: i just added a “or” operator and just accepted it.
