I'm able to access Observer URL but not able to access Home Assistant URL

Hello there,

I'm facing the title's issue, being able to access Observer URL but not the main URL.

  • I have HAOS running on a Virtual Machine on a Synology NAS
  • It worked normally for more than 1 year with updates, and etc
  • It stopped working after a power outage where the router and synology rebooted
  • I already tried accesing through IP, already change the IP (via IP reservation on router), but no luck
  • I’m able to access Home Assistant CLI direct via Synology GUI
  • I had everything configured on HA app, and it was working as well (internal and external), but also stopped working

Running HAOS 16.3 / Core 2025.11.2

Any other thing that I can try?

Check core log, in the CLI
ha core logs
OR
ha core logs --follow

EDIT: Just noticed Your HAOS and CORE Version ... So i guess this would be my last and only Suggestion :wink:

Sounds like something is corrupt.

If the logs don't show anything I might try updating both the OS and Core via the CLI:
ha core update
ha os update

Another thought would be to SSH into it and delete the contents of the \config folder and restart (assuming you have a backup). That would revert it to essentially a new install and you could then start copying in the contents of \config until you can isolate which component is causing the issue.

It is stucked in this situation for 1 month now .. (I was postponing the fix)
Before that, I was postponing the updates
