Impossible to include zwave devices after migration to Zwave-JS?

Hi!

I just migrated Zwave to Zwave-JS, and I’m manually renaming almost all devices.
I have 4 SRT-321 (thermostat), everything was well with 3 (wake up, reading data then renaming the devce) but with one, it’s impossible to wake it up. (I do the exact same procedure, pushing the “1” Button up (on), then down (off) and waiting).

I Excluded the device (the display show LP, so it’s ok) then I get LF (F for failed). I reseted the device, I restarted HA (all the host), and tried again.

Both HA and the SRT-321 are in inclusion mode, but it doesn’t work.

I use HASS.IO on a Rasp 4 with a AEON Labs ZW090 Z-Stick Gen5 EU.
Everything is up to date (from this morning).

I try since 2 hours but I don’t know what I can try more.
Please, do you have any idea?

I have the exact same problem with a spare SRT-321 (brand new, in the cardbox).

I tried to include a new HEATIT PUSH 8 (buttons) or a HEATIT Z-Smoke detector, then it’s the same problem, nothing can be included, so it seems the problem is from HA / Zwave-JS ?

But I already reboot all the system few times, or the addon service.

I don’t know what to do more now.

Do you have any idea?

You may have to bring the devices closer to the controller. It may also take multiple attempts depending on the device. Watch the zwave js logs and youll see the failure

I found !

We have to use a Windows PC software to change a setting IN the dongle (put it in SUC mode). Before install the driver of the dongle. In my case this driver : Z-Stick Gen5 Drivers INF files : Aeotec Help Desk

Now it works perfectly, I included the SRT-321 then 2 HEATIT smoke detector in few seconds ! :slight_smile:
