I modified the post author’s shopping list and now it looks like this. On the left side is the product catalog in the form of tiles, on the right side are recent purchases.

I already solved it. I also have a default icon in the shopping list, if there is no icon in the folder, for example when adding a product by voice, the product will be saved incorrectly

@wpigulce how did you check if an icon is in a folder? i was looking for the same thing.
I modified this to use attributes instead of state for categories and seasonal products to get around the 255 max characters on state, now i am having the same error on the bought items list so i need to convert that too…
can I get code? got some errors…
Finally, I’ve just published version 3.0 of our shopping list.
If you’re using a previous version, you’ll notice I’ve changed the approach, using template sensors to avoid the most common errors and limitations of helpers. This also allows you to add information such as the price of the products or the store where you buy them, enhancing the functionality of the list.

Thanks for the great work but, at least for me, this is way too complicated. I don’t want to create complicated sensors for each product, just to get the image to work. Unfortunately, for a few weeks now, I haven’t been able to get the icons to work with version 2.0, either. They just disappeared without any changes. Do you know anything about that?
Probably it is due to changes on mushroom template + card mod…
