Incorrect energy cost calculation

Hi everyone. I’m having an issue with the Energy Dashboard. It’s not showing the correct energy cost calculation.

I set a fixed electricity price of 4.32, and as you can see in the screenshot below, the energy consumption for October 26th is 9.4 kWh, which seems correct. However, the reported energy cost is 36.72, which doesn’t add up since 9.4 × 4.32 = 40.61, not 36.72.

Am I missing something, or could this be a bug?

Did you ever find out anything on this? I just went looking to see if anyone else had found this bug. I’m also noticing that my static price doesn’t add up. It works correctly for a single day but becomes larger the more days it calculates. I suspect this is a rounding error problem.

Seems to be a bug. My calculations are extremely incorrect after only half a day, but only for the electricity price; the gas price is calculated mathematically correctly.

I am using the fixed price option.

Just out of curiosity, does you pic means, you’ve paid less than 1 Euro for 3,75 cubic Gas ?

Did you make any edits to the energy sensor readings through developer tools → statistics? I had a similar issue and apparently since recently you can also edit the costs through developer tools → statistics (never read this change in the changelog as far as I can remember). I fixed a similar issue through that.

I tried that, but it’s not accurate enough for me and also much too time-consuming.
