InfluxDB v2 integration: urllib3 FutureWarning with localhost:8086 URL scheme

Hi everyone,

I’m getting a FutureWarning in my Home Assistant logs related to the InfluxDB v2 integration:

/usr/local/lib/python3.14/site-packages/urllib3/_request_methods.py:278: FutureWarning: URLs without a scheme (ie 'https://') are deprecated and will raise an error in urllib3 v3.0. To avoid this FutureWarning ensure all URLs start with 'https://' or 'http://'. Read more in this issue: https://github.com/urllib3/urllib3/issues/2920
return self.urlopen(method, url, **extra_kw)

My InfluxDB instance is running on the same machine as Home Assistant. Previously, I have been using localhost:8086 as the host/URL, which works functionally but triggers this warning.

The issue is that if I try to fix the warning by adding a scheme (e.g., http://localhost:8086 or https://localhost:8086), it seems to interfere with the port configuration. It either defaults to port 80/443, or the integration fails to parse the custom port correctly.

How should the URL be correctly formatted in the InfluxDB v2 integration to satisfy the urllib3 scheme requirement while explicitly keeping the custom port 8086?

Has anyone else encountered this and found the correct syntax or a workaround?

Thanks in advance for your help!
