Relatively new user here. Have HA (zigbee2MQTT) running containered in Docker under Ubuntu. Recently received smart switch (VZM31) and canopy module (VZM36) from Inovelli. Wiring complete, proceeding with (Inovelli) setup instructions. Repeated attempts at pairing have been unsuccessful so far. I do have four (Third Reality) smart plugs paired and operational dispersed near the VZM31 switch, so I assume proximity is OK. Firmware has been updated, HA and Z2M restarted, and Inovelli switch (VZM31) Factory reset – Still no joy. I have this topic posted on the Inovelli site as well. Looking for some insight re: pairing these Inovelli devices.
As all things seem OK (with exception of pairing my new switch), I decided to change proximity. Perhaps my dongle is just too far away. Moved my Dell Wyse (containing Ubuntu, Docker, HA, zigbee2MQTT, and Portainer to the upstairs room with the switch. The antenna is literally less than 3 feet from the switch. Am able to see HA and Portainer fine. But for some reason cannot see zigbee2MQTT (port 8080) page. (Docker ps and portainer) confirm Z2M is running, but page will not display. I get an “Unable to connect” error. I think HA is not recognizing Z2M. I cannot put Z2M in pairing mode in this new location.
