I purchased this device with the hope of being able to automate some of LED downlights which are wired to a MOES Dimmer Switch. However, It looks that the device can only be used with Zigbee lights and (maybe) Zigbee dimmer drivers. I wanted a solution (device) can easily be used to control the dimming for those lights wired to Zigbee Dimmer Switches (I have MOES dimmer switches). I tried the Groups function but it doesn’t seem to work, basically when I use the Smart Life app, the Knob dimmer device doesn’t show any groups of MOES dimmer switches that were created!
The knob dimmer switch has 5 main parts:
A) Turn on/off the knob display screen.
B) Change the knob function: Brightness or Temperature
C) Has two options: when wired L1 will turn on/off the respective device its wired to. When not wired, it used to trigger a scene or a remote device.
D) Has two options: when wired L2 will turn on/off the respective device its wired to. When not wired, it used to trigger a scene or a remote device.
E) When rotated, increases the brightness or temperature, first click on (B) to change the mode for either brightness or temperature
