Installation of HAOS with Cockpit

The Installation instructions indicate that HA OS is one of the “better/preferred/more feature rich” ways to run home assistant which is great.

But I’m wondering if anyone has any experience using cockpit for the installation. I note that the instructions have virt-manager & virt-install, so I assume I shouldn’t have any problems (or even, can just use those and import the existing VM to cockpit).

Just figured I’d ask before starting to make sure as a quick search in the forums here didn’t give me any obvious response either way.

Yes you can use Cockpit to create the VM and then attach the HAOS image.

Cool, figured it should be possible but wanted to make sure there were no gotchas. I’ll give it a shot when I get a chance, hopefully nothing to report back except success!
