Installation on Synology DS118

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with installing Home-Assistant on the Synology DS118? Or at least, non-docker, as it’s x32.

Installing succeeds (although I have to downgrade PIP, otherwise the frontend doesnt work), but it fails to set up discovery, cloud and also tradfri.

Hi. I’m on the same boat. Did you have any way to resolve this? I installed HA Core but is limited with some integration and other things.

Hey,

Yeah, I found no proper way to run it on the DS118. I just got myself a Raspberry Pi.

Thanks fir the update. Can you connect the Raspberry PI to the Synology?

By the way, I could connect HA using my DS118 but is kind of limited. It seems I just need to add what is missing on the package
