Insteon Siren Module 2868-222 not supported or detected properly?

I am in the process of migrating from Homeseer to Home Assistant.

I have 42 devices, and 3 of these are the Insteon Siren modules, which I am having some difficulty with.

They are detected, but in a generic way showing up as device type (0x07, 0x1e) without the Insteon device model number.prefixing the two hex codes.

There are also no entities registered for the device either, under controls it says “This device has no entities”

I have been mucking around with this for a number of days, trying various workarounds seen on the forum, but seem to be going in circles.

Is it possible to use these sirens with the HA Insteon integration natively? Or does it require an integration update, or writing some sort of custom configuration?

Any thoughts and input would be much appreciated

I’m having extacly same issue, I recently migrated from ISY944 to native insteon.

If you discover something new, please let me know and update here, because so far there is nothing I have tried so far that has worked.

I am now at the point where I think I’ll continue to keep HomeSeer around, and do some sort of link between Home Assistant and HomeSeer, and leave my 3 Insteon Sirens on HomeSeer and trigger them via the integration link.

I find the HomeSeer Insteon plugin to be very well done, and it can provide all sorts of diagnostic information, so I had intended to keep it around as a backup tool anyhows.
