I’m relatively new to HA, and trying to configure my existing hardware. I have both zigbee and z-wave locks, and I’d like to find a way of:
- consolidated management of PINs across all locks for each member of our household
- ability to update a user’s PIN centrally in HA, without having to update each a PIN on each lock individually
- ability to log/track what PIN was used to unlock a door.
- Ability to disable a user or a PIN temporarily
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I haven’t been able to find a solid answer. There look to be a number of ways to manage smart locks - but nothing I can find that works on both zigbee and z-wave. I’ve search both here and on reddit in r/homeassistant without any success.
I expect that the answer is going to be that it will require some sort of custom integration that will sit on top of both keymaster (for z-wave) and a separate integration/manager for zigbee locks.
Is anyone in a similar situation, and what solution did you come up with?
