Integrating Becker Motors in to Hassio

Hello RainerS,

thank you for your support!

The action is now displayed, but I still can’t manage to pair my roof window shutters with the Becker Stick.

When I set the shutters to learn mode using the Becker remote control, I hear the “click” signal - but when I then carry out the pairing action, nothing happens.

I have set the logging to debug and had actually expected to see such an output (at least the perplexity AI expects something like this - but maybe its hallucinating):

DEBUG [custom_components.becker.pybecker.becker_helper] Pairing command sent to channel 2, unit 1

But it is nowhere to be found…which smells to me like the action is simply not being executed.

I’ve restarted the Home Assistant and tried pairing again and am attaching the log file of this process, maybe there’s something helpful in there - I didn’t see anything at first glance.

The message “ [custom_components.becker.rf_device] Filename centronic-stick.db does not exist. Create a new file.” is no longer visible in the log. The file also exists in the root directory of the Home Assistant installation (“homeassistant/centronic-stick.db”).

I have now even asked Roto Support whether my roller shutters are compatible with the Becker Centronics system at all. They have assured me that they are.

Please redownload the Becker integration (e.g. possible with HACS) and reboot Home Assistant.
This is already fixed in the latest version.

This line gets called when logging in at Debug level and the remote gets triggers.

Hi everybody!

I cannot get the stick to pair with my motor.

Everything seems to be set up fine in HA:

so, everything as it should be, I guess.

When I press the connect button on my remote, I get the single click. But no matter what I do with pair service, I do not get the two clicks to confirm pairing (and I cannot control the shutter from my HA, obviously).

Stick and Raspberry Pi are about 6 metres from the motor…

Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

EDIT:
I have got it to work. I do not know how, though… I had put my Raspberry Pi closer to the receiver, which didn’t help. So I gave up and put it back. After it had restarted I decided I might just give it one more try…

You seem to have had the same problem as me - devices not wanting to pair. How did you fix it?
