Integration for Watts Vision Smart Home System

Thanks. Works for me. Available via HACS

Hi Chris,

Maybe you already got an answer but flashing H/C led means: ā€œRF alarm between the BT-M6Z02-RF and any device other than a thermostatā€

In my case I have an additional module the BT-HCM02-RF which is connected to my heatpump to know if it is in heating or cooling mode. This module puts the other module in heating or cooling mode. The H/C indicator will be red when heating and green when cooling. This also applies to the room thermostats which are automatically set to heating or cooling mode. The OK button will show up red when heating and green when cooling.

Hopefully this answers your question.

Kind regards,

Diederik

Anyone else experiencing route errors (ERR_ROUTE) since 16 April when querying the Watts Vision web API?

Ok, the URL should now contain a slash at the end.

Is there any possibility for SunTouch Floorwarming support? The SunTouch Thermostats are a Watts brand, which use their Watts Home app.

Really a shame they are not supporting Apple HomeKit

It seems the integration for watts vision is down (also the official app is no longer working). Anyone else having issues?

A few weeks ago they changed the backend. As a result the authentication manner has slightly been changed.
The web portal should still be functioning though.

Hm, I noticed that recent change you mention, and up till a few days ago it was all working fine. I first thought some problems with the server of watts vision, but if you don’t have problems, that is probably not the case.

The web portal is not working. I am able to login, but when i select my central unit I get the error ā€œerror has occurred, try again laterā€. Reconnecting the central unit didn’t help either. I will look into it in more detail and/or try to contact watts.

Update: after contacting watts by mail, it all works again within 24h (although no reply yet). Coincidence, or something was wrong/blocked in my account? Most important, it is al up and running again.

Hey all, what great work have you all been doing. I’m currently on the fence on whether I should add a BT-CT03-RF to my current WATTS floor-heating setup and use this integration OR replace everything with plugwise gear (adam, lisa, koen). I was hoping someone could help me get some insights;

  • How stable is this whole setup for you all?
  • Can you use the integration when the internet is down?
  • Can Home Assistant be used to start/stop/set heating or is it more of a read only?
  • Would you do it again this way if you had a choice?

Thanks!

I have a small Plugwise system: Adam, 1x Anna, 1x Lisa, 1x Tom and several Plugs, one of them driving the floor-heating pump. I’ve been using them for a couple of years, the Anna twice as long. Always been stable for me.

I’m also one of the Core Plugwise integration owners
The Adam has a local webserver, all keeps working when the internet is gone.
Also, the HA integration can be used in parallel to the Plugwise App, the most used functions from the App are available in HA via the integration. See also Plugwise - Home Assistant

Thanks, I do think that Plugwise may be more reliable in the long run. Changing everything is just about 4x as expensive hehe
