I was not able to describe my second issue in the previous topic and it is probably better to separate :-).
I am trying to integrate one doorbel and push button in Home Assistant without success knowing that I succeded in Domoticz with the same materials.
See below please
You seem to be struggling a bit.
This problem has been already solved in several threads here.
Try putting this in your search engine and check out the links.
Unfortunately, you haven’t really provided any info about what could be going wrong. All we can see is that it doesn’t work for you. We can’t even see what “it” is either because the link in your original post is dead.
If you are going to get something that sends rf433 codes to make something work, you have to have something that home assistant talks to to receive the codes, decode it, and tell HA what signal was sent.
I don’t know how you did that in your other integration. I suspect something is missing hardware wise we are not aware of.
@ Sir_Goodenough
Your answers are not at all helping. Sorry.
As I indicated earlier, I have done a lot of search and know how to search on internet or forums.
I have already seen the links mentioned and they are not treated my problem.
May be I was not clear.
Let me re explain :
My Doorbell byron-dby-23712w is not discovered by RFXCOM in home assistant with protocole byron check, nor with other protocol like AC, ATI, X10… or others
I don’t have a RFXCOM and I don’t byron-dby-23712w, but as far as I understand HA, you will not get a device, nor an entity for your doorbell.
My doorbell, with an RfLink, just receives an event when someone rings, no device, no entity, just an event. Sorry, I can’t help more. Did you read the topic I linked before ?
