The board now costs less than 50$ and shipping from EU to NA certainly is more expensive than $5.
You can also go to gitlab repo, You will find Gerbers, PnP, BOM and order them directly by the PCB(a) supplier. Let me know if You need some guidance on that.
You might be able to get it cheaper through this Dutch guy: https://tweakers.net/aanbod/3887876/aux-airco-wifi-module-voor-home-assistant-obv-esphome.html (and you can contact him here also Contact opnemen – Voorheijen.nl)
I bought both the Circuit Issue and the two from Dutch guy on the link.
The advantage with the Dutch guy Voorheijen is that it comes with USB or the 5 pin cable and a housing.
Whereas with Circuit Issue you still need to print a housing and get a cable so it can connect. I tried to setup Circuit Issues but I didn’t have the tools or skill (or time) to get it done without the housing and cable.
The Dutch guy is super helpful also!
EDIT: Here are a photo, left is what received from Circuit Issue/Merlinmag Stan and right is Dutch Guy/MuadDib007 Vincent Voorheijen.
Dutch guy here,

Just curious, could someone make a picture of the connector and the location of it in the AC unit, that goes along with MR @MuadDib007 unit and its connector?
I have designed the board to be drop in replacement for such WiFi module and assumed that is the major interface for the unit. I am happy to add the inferring cable as it seems it is the “leading” connection type?
Hi @Merlinmag it seems you designed a board to replace only the PCB inside the 5 pin Original Aux Wifi module
My module completely replaces the original Wifi module and contains the same 5 pin connector (or USB port) which is on the outside of the original dongle.
So no need to disassemble anything, just plug out the original module and plug in my replacement.
That is right, seems like it! ![]()
Hi can someone compile YAML file for AUX ASW-H09A4/QDR3DI?
I dont understand what is the problem behind the AUX ACs … I have an AUX multiplit installed in my home and it has a wifi dongle like this in it:
But i had no luck to connect it to either AC Freedom app or the new AUX Home app on android or even iOS… Always fails to connect. Now i was looking at least for a way to make my HA Green to connect with it over local network (wifi) but i cannot find a way to do it. every time i find an article like this, there sodering and components involved and you guys making custom parts for the AC… Does that mean this WIFI dongle provided in it is sh*t and doesnt work ? or what ? Im so confused (not that im a complete noob when it comes to these things and HA itself). PLEASE help!
