Interface esp32 with comercial volt/amp/Hz meter

Hello

Has anyone perhaps tried to “hack” one of these 220v 7 segment displays? I.e. connect an esp32 to the display pins to send the reading to HomeAssistant.

The meter is cheap, already has all the magic bits to sense the reading, so would be nice if it could be connected to an esp32
