Invalid Configs?

I have seen tons of posts on here about how Tuya has issues with Home Assistant on the basic setup configurations. Here is my question: How come it works about 40% of the time and then comes back and says “Invalid Config: The following components and platforms could not be setup:”??? I can reboot and then they work again it seems they time out when trying to be added to Hassio. I get the same issue with Ring Devices and components. They will show up one moment then after a refresh they say the same thing “Invalid Config” is there some way to keep them refreshed in the system? The following is the configuration which is set right:

tuya:
username: !secret tuya_username
password: !secret tuya_password
country_code: !secret my_country_code
platform: tuya <----- I am using only the Tuya Smart App, I tried on Smart Life App but got same results.

ring:
username: !secret ring_username
password: !secret ring_password
camera:

  • platform: ring

Honestly it is the biggest hurdle to overcome at this point. If I can get this working again and say working I am golden…just have to get the stupid Smartthings-MQTT-Bridge working next…PofS that thing is…

that platform: tuya isn’t in the correct spot… Seems like it’s getting lucky every other time by ignoreing that line.

Never mind, apparently that’s a normal config option for tuya. What does you error actually say when it fails? Did you make modifications between the failures and the non-failures?

There is no form of error code it just tells you to check your configuration by giving you a link to that component page. I am following what is on those component pages to the letter.

So you aren’t setting up any other tuya devices, only the hub. And you aren’t using anything except the ring camera?

In the Tuya component is just a few lights and plugs. No hub needed for Tuya devices. Now with Ring it is just a doorbell camera and indoor camera. No hub for Ring either.
