Just pushed a fix to address the animation bug when there is no aux power
I’m struggling with the config.
I have solar panels (configured correct), an EV (looks correct) and a house with airco (as a separate entry).
But somehow the layout isn’t OK, I have some missing data in the picture.
How can I fill the 2 boxes that are on 0W now ?
The left one should give the total amount of power that the house & EV is using, where do I put it ?
and the right one should give the grit info ( Voltage, Current, Freq).
is there anything else I can achieve with my setup ?
I have a probe for every fuse in the house.

@erwin.fiten do you have a smart meter? That is needed for the second box which leads to the grid.
The first box should be filled with data from you inverter sensors.
Yes, I have a smart meter, and where do I need to fill in these ?
And the inverter data is already on the solar part ?
Hi @slipx06
I have been enjoying the sunsynk-power-flow-card very much. Checking it out many times a day.
But I wanted to ask about the UI performance of the card. I have noticed that my HA UI got laggy. when I switch to the tab that has this card my computer CPU gets high and the fan gets loud.
It also affects the performance of other cards. like when I open the More-Info dialog it sometimes just closes, If I adjust the thermostat on the dialog it sometimes does not register the taps. or the UI is jumping up when scrolled down. very disturbing on the mobile companion app.
When I removed the card from the dashboard it seems that the performance improved. I am not HTML expert.
Maybe I have misconfigured the card (or I can adjust the card config to improve the performance)?
or maybe it is interfering with some other card (have some mini-graph-card, multiple-entity-row)?
also some standard energy dashboard cards like energy-distribution (which also has the animated dots)?
I tried to remove it and the CPU stopped getting high.
Any advice?
Hi. Couple of things you can try. Place the card on its own dashboard then start with a simple card config and gradually add more sensors until you notice the issue. Also how often are you reading data from the inverter?
Hi,
I left the default Solis Modbus integration settings:
Home assistant CPU is running at low percentages (it is deployed on a laptop with Core-i7 and SSD; Modbus connection is over LAN).
I am now trying to set the dashboard up a bit differently.
- moved from sections Layout to Masonry.
- reconfigured the graph chart to show less data points
- removed the Sankey energy card
I have also noticed that the UI is much more laggy during the sunny day when data is changing a lot. today is not so sunny. probably will have to wait for sunnier day to see the effect.
