iOS App Not Connecting

Yes - this issue has many threads on here, but it seems my case might be different since:

  1. The issue exists even with the latest iOS and iOS Beta.
  2. The issue exists both on my local network and externally.
  3. The issue exists both with the IP address and with home assistant.local.
  4. Swiping up on the loading screen does nothing.
  5. The issue exists whether location settings are enabled or not.

Additional details:
When I start clean after deleting the app, the wizard correctly finds my local installation and completes, correctly pulling and populating the external URL from the server information, however when I try and connect I get the dreaded “You’re disconnected” screen. Using duckdns with NGNX and was working fine for years until the past month or two. Accessing the site from my browser (public and local URLs) works fine. Also, not sure if this is at all relevant, but there are about 300 banned IPs in the ip_bans.yaml list (obviously mine is not included).

Please help!

Hi, what would help, post some logs here please.

From your computer browser, go to settings - system - logs - you’ll probably see some warning about it right there in the Core warnings section that the logs open to.

Sure - the only thing there from when I tried logging in with the app yesterday was this:

though not sure it’s related since it is from an external IP address and I’m trying to connect locally. (I masked the start of the IP)
