In the , in Dutch , conditie app there are a lot of different settings but most importantly the sessions. This records the last active workouts.
I do a lot of running inside, I start the workout on my watch and it gets recorded, when I finish I stop the workout and you have a session with start end heart rate and more. But also burned calories during this workout.
Two-way sync through Health Assistant Link is now live for both free and subscribed users
Until now, Health Assistant Link only synced from Apple Health to Home Assistant. It can now also sync supported data back the other way into Apple Health.
My use case for this is my smart scales only report into Home Assistant, not Apple Health. Now my weight gets copied into Apple Health as well, so I still get all the Apple Health graphs and trends without changing my setup.
I wrote a bit more about that here:
One thing to be aware of: values aren’t written instantly. The app reads the data from Home Assistant during its normal sync (either when you sync manually or during a background sync), then writes it into Apple Health.

Cool!! Workout added but can’t seem get the data in ha. Should it appear automatically?
@mhoogenbosch It should be syncing automatically as long as you have the most recent version of the hacs integration installed. It has a summary as the main entity status then the details as attributes. You’ll find the entity named “last_apple_workout_user”
If you give the info to an ai you’ll be able to generate some cool dashboards to display the data. And the attributes let you automate on it. I’m putting together an article for it soon.

I have built a tool on the Health Assistant Link Website to create these dashboard tiles for anyone as well as instructions on how to get them set up! Check them out here:
