With today’s update my homescreen widget has become empty(see screenshot).
I have tried to re-configure it in homessistant an on edit Home Screen by no luck

Same here. Neither iOS actions nor the new widgets work.
Same for me. App deletion, reboot and reinstall didn’t work either. Sensor widgets work. Scripts and actions don’t - all blank and unresponsive. Control Center and lock screen widgets are also affected.
My wife has the same issue on her iPhone. I don’t. We both have the latest iOS version (26.1) as well as the latest Home Assistant companion app version (2025.12.1). The only difference is that she has an iPhone 12 and I have an iPhone 12 Pro.
Same here. iPhone has the issue, but iPad Mini does not. Both are in lockdown mode. Connection Security doesn’t matter.
Since its introduction, I’ve never had the widgets work on my iPhone. They’re always just blank, like your picture.
Has anyone managed to solve this problem?
I had something similar, where the wigets were just solid white, and after removing home assistant from the phone, doing a force restart on the phone, then reinstalling, the custom widgets now look like the problem you have where it looks like there’s a little square in the middle of the button. My problem only started this morning after upgrading from ios 18 to 26.2. Wish I hadn’t.
Still no fix then???

Happy to share that I solved the issue!
First, I deleted and reinstalled the Home Assistant on my iPhone.
Secondly, I created a new widget with scenes in the Home Assistant app > Settings > Companion App > Widgets > Create Widget
Finally, add a new widget in iOS and select the HA widget that you just created.

Same here, including lots of random inabilities to connect to the server when I’m onn my local network, but if I turn off wifi and go through nabu it works fine standing in the exact same location. Interesting.
Same issue for me, with or without WiFi, using Home Assistant cloud doesn’t fix it. Hope a developer will shine a light on it.
