Tying to login on Apple iPad HA App.

Unable to connect to Home Assistant
On the same iPad login with browser duckdns.org:8123 is working. With local IP 192.168.0.64:8123 not working
Hi Nick
absolutely, the ip address is correct.
In external URL is my …duckdns.org:8123 address, that is actually correct.
But if I put in Field Inernal URL:http://192.168.0.64:8123 and save I get message: Error saving URL, the network connection was lost.
So not possible to connect with iPad App 2025.2.5
Did you recently added DuckDNS for external access?
Are you using httpS?
Does your router/internet connection allow to make a connection from your LAN to your WAN?
No, duckdns is running longtime for HA. https with duckdns, but http only local.
LAN-WAN is allowed for sure, HA is not the only App that gets data from Internet.
What I meant was: is your modem/router allowing you to open services on your own network using your DuckDNS address while being connected on your own LAN?
Sorry man, if you want our help we can only provide this by using the info that you provide and the answers to our questions.
I’m not bored by asking you multiple things, I’m just trying to get a clear picture.
WLAN =/= WAN
Some routers/fixed internet connections don’t allow you to connect to your services when you are ON your own home network by using your WAN (DuckDNS) address.
