iRobot app communication problems

Since I integrated my iRobot into HA (iRobot Roomba and Braava), I’ve noticed that the original iRobot app on my smartphone often fails to start the robot to clean. Has this happened to you too? How can I fix it? Thanks

Yes. Same here. Not with Brava, but more often with Roomba. If urgent, then I switch of the “continously” option and then it is working via app again most of the times immediately. But unfortunately without “continously” I don’t get any updates at all, so I have to switch it on again directly afterwards.

As far as I recall iRobot API does not allows for more that one concurrent connection. So what you see is race condition between 2 clients, whoever wins and keeps connection alive wins. I’m afraid no fix available.
