Hello, I have purchased the Sonoff Zigbee irrigation computer. It works great, and has solid Z2MQTT support. But the problem is that it opens/closes instantly which causes water hammer in my house.
Any recommendations for a zigbee or wifi irrigation computer that closes/opens slowly?
A mechanical solution is to put in an air chamber by the valve. Take a spigot wye, put your valve on one side and a length of hose (capped) on the other. The hose would go vertically upwards.
I don't know of an electronic sollution.
They sell water hammer dampers for this exact purpose.
