Is it my box, software (JS Z-Wave UI) or guide that won't let me edit YAML files?

My older Home Assistant box ran into issues with not reconizing the operating system. I thought before I attempted to reflash it I want to get a Home Assistant Green, install a back up on there with a new zigbee (ZBT-1) and Home Assistant Connect Z-Wave Adapter (ZWA-2).

I restored new HA Green box with a back up. I needed to migrate Z-Wave details over.
I’m autistic. Using forums to diagnose prolems it difficult for me as I don’t often comprehend the simplest of instructions so I used Google Gemini. Give it a screenshot with my issues, ask questions and work through it.

Gemini was telling me I need to add these settings to JS Z-Wave UI. It said go to configuration and edit via YAML:

device: '/dev/serial/by-id/usb-Nabu_Casa_ZWA-2_80B54EE1C834-if00'
s0_legacy_key: ''
s2_access_control_key: ''
s2_authenticated_key: ''
s2_unauthenticated_key: ''
log_level: info

Whenever I did that it wouldn’t save. Save it, nothing. Save it and reboot, nothing. Hours and hours pass as Gemini attempts to get me through this.

I’ve now reflashed HA Green. Started a new set up and those details still won’t save in JS Z-Wave UI YAML

I’ve suggested that Gemini is giving my faulty instructions. It’s come to the conclusion the box is at fault. I’ve got a new one coming tomorrow and I thought I’d ask the question to some humans to advise me if its correct or way off.

Am I doing something worng or is it the box or the chatty robot?

There is always about a 90% chance of this…

I don’t doubt. I’d just like some confirmation.

None of those YAML add-on settings even exist for the Z-Wave JS UI add-on, looks like you are mixing it up with the official core add-on.

You configure the Z-Wave JS UI settings in the actual “Web UI” part. See online docs here: addon-zwave-js-ui/zwave-js-ui/DOCS.md at 46343e80c4841c3987054e21890475bcb613f246 · hassio-addons/addon-zwave-js-ui · GitHub, or simply click the “Docs” tab on the add-on page for the same content.
