Is it possible to change the radius of a 'person's zone'

I’ve been tinkering with zones to create various automations or notifications for when a person is present/not present in a zone.
Whilst looking at the history of a persons entity I noted that my location was reported as being in a zone that I created, when I was in fact 300m (approx) away from that location. Looking at the HA map the radius of a ‘person’s/device’s’ zone varies in size.

I have been trying to research if its possible to adjust the size of a ‘persons’ zone to prevent false reporting of that persons location, but have had little success.
Can anyone help please?

That’s the gps_accuracy of the device tracker.
You can’t change that.
You could, but that isn’t what it’s designed to be used for.
