This is my first post here, so apologies if this has been asked before.
I am trying to find out if it is actually possible to connect an older ABB Power-One PVI-12.5-OUTD inverter to Home Assistant using a Waveshare RS485 to Ethernet adapter.
My goal is to monitor production and ideally control the power output (dimming) during negative energy prices.
Has anyone successfully done this, or is the Aurora protocol too limited for this type of network bridge?
